Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, and ProtestantismI.IslamThe Muslims main sacred text is the Koran, which they desire Gabriel gave to Mohammad from God. Muslims believe that the Koran is the final revelation from God, as the Bible has been corrupted upon translation. My handing over is Isaiah 53 where it talks about a suffering servant for Israel. While saviourians believe this is a prophecy of Jesus, Muslims believe that Jesus was only a prophet. They believe Jesus was never crucified, and Allah made someone look like Jesus instead. (Koran 4157) Interestingly enough, when our Muslim consultant, Dr. Akhter, was asked about Jesus teachings according to the Koran and how it whitethorn relate to this passage, he said that he does not know of His teachings. Thus, the suffering servant, according to Islamic teachings, is the man who Allah made to appear identical to Jesus.Regarding Islam, the only field that caught me off guard was when Dr. Akhter stated that Jesus will come back to die and break the cross. The Jihad is another issue that surprise me, because it hardly corresponds to what Allah instructed Mohammad to do in the Koran in countless verses. Dr. Akhter said that a Muslim must fight injustice as a part of the Jihad.Dr. Akhter also surprised me with another statement when I asked him about a hierarchy of prophets in Islam. He said there is a passage in the Koran that states you should not compare a prophet to another. He also talked about the pilgrimage to Mecca and explained how it atones for sins. Once a Muslim experiences the pilgrimage, they have a clean slate. It is a very sensitive issue, because non-Muslims are forbidden to go to the Kaaba. The worship practices of Muslims are somewhat ... ..., anyone that decides to pursue Him as their Savior is a Christian. E precise year hundreds of students apply for NSD and only 26 are selected. The school has produced some very fine actors like Pankaj Kapur, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan and Surekha Sikri. Recently the hard consort of one of the alumni of NSD also turned fruitful and that is Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It took him around 12 years to finally make his entry in Bollywood. The list of successful alumnis of NSD is very diminutive.Every year NSD recruits 26 students for its 3 year course and their future still remains in dark. What role does institutes like National School of drama play in a country like India? How institutions like these are helping to expand the scope of theatre within the country? Before we remove into the shor tcomings of NSD, lets understand NSD and what all initiatives it takes to encourage theatre as an invention form within the country. NSD was set up by Sangeet Natak Academy as one of its important units in 1959. Initially the school was situated at Nizamuddin West, and was called National School of Drama and Asian Theatre Institute, whose first batch passed out in 1961. But in 1975 it became an independent entity under the Ministry of Culture. The kind of Training that is imparted at NSD is considered to be highly intensive and is based on a comprehensive course of study covering every aspect of theatre- Theory and practical. Students are also required to produce plays during the curriculum. These shows are then performed before the public. According to him NSD should train actors for television, radio and films. He said It would be fan tastic if they could bring the kind of intensity generated in theatre training to other forums.Also teaching theatre as an art needs to move and develop with time. There hasnt been much change in the curriculum of NSD since its inception. They train tidy sum but they themselves have no pinch about whats next after the training. NSD should expand its wings and should open up more repertories in the country. The thing is NSD should not only hold workshops and festivals in Delhi but also in other parts of the country in order to promote the art form. The more it will reach out, the more people will show participation. It should not just be restricted to one place.

It is an abstract imagination that is made solid through the authors use of action, images, and characters. The main theme in this work is the reality of prejudice. Class, sex, and race are some of the prejudices present in the townsfolk of Maycomb.Prejudice concerning ones class in society is dominant in the town of Maycomb. Class structure in this novel is important because it creates a caste outline for the muckle to follow. In this system, the black population permeates at the bottom. Families with the Finchs stature would be found at or near the top. According to the caste system people had a position to uphold for example, if you were of a Finchs status you were to act respectably and not act like trash. The Ewells in this story are just supra the colored folks only because they are white. Most p eople look down upon them resulting in avoidance. This caste system exists because in Maycomb it is the way things have of all time been. Class structure promotes a sense of security for the people, and thats the way the people want it to stay.Since this story takes place in the 1930s there is also a prejudice towards women.
